My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Terrier / Wire-haired Jack Russell Terrier mix
Age: 3 yrs.
Weight: 12 lbs.
Good with dogs: yes
Good with cats: unsure
Good with kids: no, too skittish right now
Energy level: low
Good with men/strangers: fear aggression with men
Hypoallergenic: no

Special home requirements or medical: none

Additional info:
Vader is a mellow, low energy very sweet little boy. He was dumped at the shelter with another dog because his family had too many dogs. He is a little puzzled and insecure right now because he lost his family and his best friend (who was pulled by another rescue). He walks well on the leash and is crate trained. He is generally not aggressive although he did exhibit some fear aggression with a male stranger. He needs time to warm up and he needs a patient, understanding owner. Vader is good with other dogs and is used to being both an indoor and outdoor dog. He likes relaxing with his chews and toys. He can be a little skittish while out on the street. Because of his skittishness, we do not recommend him for a home with young kids.
