Hi! My name is Delaney and I am an active girl.  I am one year old and weigh about 80 pounds (and still growing!).

I am a very sweet girl, but am unsure in new situations.  Once I get to know you, you will see my playful side – I am all puppy!  I like to go for walks and sniff around in the yard.  I have not spent a lot of time with other dogs, so I am unsure of them too.  My Foster Mom thinks I could do great with other dogs if I am given time to get used to doggy friends and introduced properly because I have not shown aggression towards the dogs at her house.

I need a home that has breed ownership experience and time to train and exercise me.  I will be a great addition to the right home, but I need a lot of attention right now to help me learn new things and run off all my energy!

My adoption fee is $400, but Paws and Prayers is providing a $100 training reimbursement voucher with my adoption to make sure I continue to learn good habits.  Don't let this scare you!  One thing I need to work on is not jumping on my friends when I get excited.  Training is a great time for us to bond and that in itself sounds like great fun to me!  I am already crate trained and housebroken, so I know some of the basics.

I am spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.  I have also had the Gastropexy surgery.  The first step of the adoption process is to fill out an adoption application today at  I can’t wait to meet you!

About Paws and Prayers

About Our Rescue Group...

Our primary mission is to rescue, care for, and find loving homes for homeless cats and dogs. Our secondary goal is to make sure all of these animals are spayed or neutered. It is a big task, but we are ready! Paws and Prayers is based in the Northeast Ohio region. We operate as a non-profit, incorporated organization that functions solely on the efforts of foster homes and adoption volunteers.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting one of our lovely animals, please email us at or email the foster directly, their name is listed in the listing. If you are serious about adopting, you will need to fill out an application. We charge between $150-$300 for dog adoptions at this time and $60-80 for cats (all of our cats are shown at the Chapel HIll PetsMart and can be adopted anytime during their business hours). This goes towards the cost of rescuing and medical expenses, which includes spaying or neutering.
