  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less

Bear is the sweetest 3 1/2 year old male Chihuahua mix who was given up because his owner worked 16 hour days and kept this precious boy in a crate the entire time. When we heard about Bear, we got him out of that situation immediately. Bear weighs around 15 lbs and has longer legs than a typical Chihuahua. He has a very sweet nature, very gentle and loves to give kisses.  He likes toys and other dogs, likes to play, but is not overly playful. He's good with kids, cats and other dogs. Bear likes to cuddle, go for walks and he rides great in the car. He can be a little shy until he gets to know you but that happens rather quick, so don't let this keep you from meeting this darling boy. Bear is also neutered, current on shots and microchipped. Please email jglowe33@outlook.com for more info on Bear.  METRO ATLANTA ADOPTIONS ONLY.

About A Wecome Home Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

Our Adoption Process...

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.
