Our beautiful boy Asia is finally ready to meet that special someone that will give him the great home that he deserves. Asia came to us with several dogs from a terrible hoarding situation where the dogs were living in deplorable, filthy conditions with little human interaction. Asia was, quite honestly, terrified when he arrived. We spent four months breaking through his shell a little bit at a time and finally, Asia had his breakthrough and decided that being scared and alone was no longer what he wanted to be. Asia has made some wonderful friends here that he trusts and will let his hair down with, but it will take time for him to trust someone new. You will need to make several trips to meet Asia if you're interested in adopting him, and also have some experience with shy dogs. Asia is an absolute love when he knows you. This 5 year old shepherd/great pyrenees is so incredibly sweet and kind, and when he sees one of his friends, all he wants to do is stand on his hind legs and hug them. He loves to run in our exercise yard and will need a home with a secure, fenced yard since he may run if something spooks him. Asia gets along fine with other dogs and would love a quiet, commotion-free home where he can get comfortable, and get all of the love and support that he deserves. File#26355 6/15/16
