Rose's Story...

I'm very sweet and my favorite place to be is next to you. My first night out of doggie jail (aka the pound) I slept with my head on the chest of the human who got me out. I was exhausted and it was so nice to be close to someone again. Here are some details about me, I'm 3 years old (I think) and I love to run and go for walks. I'll be your hiking buddy too but I haven't been very often so it's all new and so exciting! Oh and I'm smart and I've been learning new skills with my foster mom, like heel and down. I already knew sit and shake when I was rescued and I showed my foster mom right away that I was crate trained, too. I would really love to be your one and only and have a family to call my own. So please come meet me, fall in love with me, and let's have our happily ever after!

If you are interested in meeting Rose, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Rose is about 3 years old and weighs 62 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose, a Marina del Rey American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
