Winnie's Story...
Hi! My name is Winnie. I'm a 3 month old Domestic Short Hair. I have been spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

You can pick me out because I am the tiniest one here! I am full of energy and I love to play fight with whoever wants to give me some attention. But when I know it's time to settle down, I give the best snuggles. I don't mind other cats or dogs, I tend to make them my best friend so I can burn off some energy by playing with them. If I sound like I would be a perfect fit for your family please come on down to the SPCA and see me today!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
