Eddie is a sweet boy. We rescued him from a shelter in Central Florida on his last day. We are so glad we did. We don't know his story, but after interacting with him it is clear that at some point somebody loved him. This tells us he may have just been picked up as a stray.
Eddie is probably 7-8 years old, but acts like a pup. He is a a special needs dog. He is almost blind, but he compensates with excellent hearing and can follow you around easily. Boy does he love attention. He is excellent with other dogs, is great on a leash, and definitely knows what a car ride is. Eddie has not been well taken care of in the recent past. He has a few mange spots that should clear up with his new medicine and his weekly baths. We have already started that. And when bathing him we found that he was an angel - another signal he had at some point been cared for.
