Sandy's Story...
This golden-eyed beauty is ready for her new family! Sandy is a playful, loving, eager to please puppy of approx 9 months. Currently 50lbs, she may have a little more growing to do. She has the thickest soft coat, and those eyes! She would love a doggie playmate to wrestle with, is respectful around little kids, but needs some training if you have cats. Sandy is a quick learner, and did I mention keen to please? If you're looking for an enthusiastic love bug, Sandy is your girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Sturbridge Labrador Retriever/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Corgi for sale in Sturbridge, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Corgi dog from a breeder in Sturbridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sturbridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sturbridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Corgi breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sturbridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
