Kylee's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Kylee's Story...
Kylee was taken in after being left at a shelter. She is approx 10 yrs old/ 7lb chihuahua, house trained and uses pee pads with 100% accuracy. Doesn't need a crate because of pee pad use and prefers to have free range. Gets along great with other dogs, mainly ignored them. Best without small children due to size. Had history of gallbladder issues and is on medication for the rest of her life which is about $80/year.
Has knee caps that move, common among Chis (luxating patellas) but low grade and doesn't require surgery.
Kylee also has been debarked sadly. She needs wet food the rest her life due to missing teeth, loves to cuddle, sheds minimally, prefers an occasional super short walk but is fine with lounging with her people instead.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kylee, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
