Coco's Story...
Meet Coco! Coco was found on a porch of a woman who did not particularly like cats. The woman asked that Coco be removed immediately and explained that she had a lifeless kitten so we believe she gave birth to still born kittens. Coco was extremely hungry and glad to have someone there to help her when a HART volunteer arrived. Despite it all, She is a very affectionate cat. She loves to be petted and responds quickly to adults or children who are kind to her. She is very easy going, laid back and easy to handle. Coco is approximately one year old and adjusted to life in doors right away (litter box, people, pets, etc). When she is in a new environment she's going to need just a little bit of time to adjust to the new sights and sounds, but warms up quickly! Please email hartkitties@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting Coco!

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application - Click Here. The application will put you in touch with this wonderful cat's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Cincinnati Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
