Ron Burgundy's Story...
Meet Ron Burgundy. So, genetically this happened. I honestly don’t know what mix this dog is. Best guess: toy poodle, Papillion and raccoon. Ron is really sweet and loves other dogs. At 3 pounds and 3 years old, even the smallest of cats see like giant lions to him and he keeps a safe distance from them. If interested in this tiny pup, please fill out the online app at www.zeusrescues.org. For all of us here at News Center Zeus’ Place, I'm Ron Burgundy. You stay classy, New Orleans. — at Zeus' Place.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ron Burgundy, a New Orleans Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in New Orleans, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in New Orleans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Orleans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Orleans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Orleans paves the way for another one to be saved.
