Hi, I'm Prince! I was found as a stray in Camarillo along with my friend Queen. We were so happy to meet new people that we walked right up to the Animal Services officers when they came to get us. We're so happy that C.A.R.L. could take us both in.
Queen is pretty bouncy and hyper, but I'm a lot mellower. I'm very friendly with people and good with children and other dogs too. I love to cuddle, take peaceful walks, nap time and just hanging out with my people. I’m very sensitive and don’t care for raised voices.
C.A.R.L. Volunteer Ayla has been spending lots of quality time with me. Lucky me! She and her husband Matt (He’s the one I’m giving a great big kiss to.) invited Queen and I to stay at their house when there was all the heavy rain. Of course we said yes and what a great time we had! Ayla has taken me on lots of outings to public places such as for coffee (her not me of course) and lunch and dinner at sidewalk cafés and she says I’m just wonderful! I sit calmly and I don’t react to people walking by (or skating by, or biking by or shuffling by). I’m fine with people coming straight up to me and giving me pets. I’d make a great co-pilot as I enjoy going for car rides and looking out the window.
We are part of C.A.R.L.'s Golden Oldies senior program. Learn more about that at http://carldogs.org/how-to-help/c-a-r-l-s-golden-oldies/!
If you’re looking for two dogs to adopt, I do get along with Queen. Check out her profile by clicking here.
