Remember Ursula from the Disney movie, "The Little Mermaid"? This is Ursula the "Little Cocker Spaniel". Ursula is an absolutely gorgeous 3 year old female who was recently found by a good Samaritan. We have an idea that she is a bit of an escape artist because she was able to scale the fence of the person who found her. She is great with kids, cats and other dogs and appears to be house trained. This sweet and cuddly girl loves to her toys and a good game of fetch. Because she can be a bit of an escape artist when unsupervised, we feel that she would be perfect for apartment, condo or town home living where she is walked on a leash.
Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Houston started out 20 years ago with only two volunteers and is up to approximately 40 volunteers in the Houston area alone. We have established chapters in both Dallas/Ft Worth and Austin/San Antonio and are working together to place hundreds of homeless cocker spaniels each year. Because many of these dogs come in with serious injuries or in need of expensive surgeries, donations are always needed to cover those expenses. And because of the number of dogs that are continuously coming into our program, we are always in need of foster homes.
Come Meet Our Pets...
All of our dogs are fostered out of our homes but we get together every weekend to show them. To find dates and locations, go to our website at www.cockerkids.org.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fee is only $250 which includes spay/neuter, all shots and full health check. We require a completed application (found on our website at www.cockerkids.org) and either a home check or vet reference.
