Meet Arlene!
Arlene was born to a stray mother. She was raised by a family for a short period of time. Sadly arlene was sacrificed and abandoned on the road side shortly after the family had a new born baby.
Arlene ended up in the animal shelter, but her loving and affectionate nature did not escape the eyes of the volunteer. Hoping to find her a permanent home, the volunteer took Arlene to an adoption fair. Sadly, things did not work out at the adoption fair; Arlene got returned back to her cold iron cage in the shelter.
The volunteer did not want to give up on this sweet loving pup, so she took Arlene out of the shelter and placed her with foster home. Arlene loves the company of other doggie pals and enjoys a structure life where they are trained to have good manners.

Arlene had a complete health checkup and has up to date vaccinations. She is ready for her own loving home. Please give Arlene a chance to join your family and return you with her unconditional puppy love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arlene, a Castro Valley Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Collie puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
