I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Tula's Story...
Hi! My name is Tula. I am an 8-year old spayed female Domestic Shorthair with stunning blue eyes. My owner is devastated that he had to surrender me and my friend, Shadow. He loves us so much, but his new wife is allergic to us. He asked the nice people at Black Dog Walk to help find a loving home for us. As you can see, we love each other and would love to find a home together.

I get along with dogs when introduced patiently, and love children and cuddling with my people and Shadow.

My adoption fee is $25, which includes my up-to-date-vaccines and microchip. It is only $40 to adopt both of us. Please contact BDW for an application. A $12.50 deposit will hold me and a $10 deposit will hold both of us until a home check can be done. The remaining $10 or $12.50 will be due when we go home with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tula, a Ogden Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
