CHECKERS's Story...

Are you looking for a dog in a tiny cat's body? CHECKERS would be a great fit for you! He follows people around, comes when called, and is a snuggle bug. He enjoys mellow days in bed cuddling with you, and loves to play with his cat and kitten friends. He's extremely intelligent and loves to engage you.   CHECKERS is super sweet ! CHECKERS gets along really well with anyone - be it other cats or kittens, dogs and people!

CHECKERS will forever be a tiny cat who looks like a kitten. He's about 8-9 months old but is about 3.75 lbs. There's nothing wrong with him - he was the runt but has always been in robust health.

CHECKERS was rescued from a rough life outdoors and is at a foster home, but is really hoping a wonderful person chooses him to be part of a loving forever family.

CHECKERS is housebroken, always uses the litterbox, doesn't spray, doesn't scratch up the furniture, and is well-behaved. As well as current on all shots/vaccinations, is fixed and microchipped.

Bring some silly love into your home today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHECKERS, a Corona Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Corona, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Corona.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corona already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corona breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corona paves the way for another one to be saved.
