Tessa is a very sweet 3 month puppy weighing about 6 lbs. We think this svelte, long-legged girl is Italian Greyhound and chihuahua mix. She has a very expressive face with big brown eyes. Her foster mom thinks she looks like a small fawn. Maybe her name should have been “Bambi”. Tessa gets along well with other dogs and especially enjoys playing with the other small foster dog she is living with. She loves being held and sitting on a nice warm lap. She is quiet around the house and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. If you are interested in this cutie, please complete an application or contact her foster mom, Nancy at firstname.lastname@example.org or 925-846-9381
We are a group of dedicated volunteers who believe dogs never choose to be homeless, they certainly do not deserve to be euthanized. We believe in giving these victims of circumstances a voice and kindness so they can have a second chance at life.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Since our dogs do not always attend every adoption event, it is always a good idea to check with us first if there is a specific dog you are interested in meeting at the event.
OUR ADOPTION EVENT CALENDAR:
SECOND SATURDAY OF MONTH, NOON - 3:00. 3440 Camino Tassajara, Danville (in front of Pyrenees Pets)
ALL OTHER SATURDAYS, 10:00 - 1:00 625 Main Street, Pleasanton (in front of Blue Agave Club)
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption application can be completed electronically and emailed to us. The application are under the "Our Adoption Process" page of our website (1LuckyDogRescue.Org). Our goal is to set our dogs up for successful adoptions by finding adopters that are well suited for each of their personalities. A home visit is required prior to adoption. We will assist in introductions to other family members, both human and furry ones. Our adoption fee is $250.
