Tessa - adoption pending's Story...
Tessa is a very sweet 3 month puppy weighing about 6 lbs. We think this svelte, long-legged girl is Italian Greyhound and chihuahua mix. She has a very expressive face with big brown eyes. Her foster mom thinks she looks like a small fawn. Maybe her name should have been “Bambi”.
Tessa gets along well with other dogs and especially enjoys playing with the other small foster dog she is living with. She loves being held and sitting on a nice warm lap. She is quiet around the house and sleeps quietly in her crate at night.
If you are interested in this cutie, please complete an application or contact her foster mom, Nancy at nancymoore016@gmail.com or 925-846-9381

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tessa - adoption pending, a Pleasanton Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua for sale in Pleasanton, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Pleasanton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pleasanton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pleasanton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pleasanton paves the way for another one to be saved.
