Sam's Story...
Hi, my name is SAM and I’m a 2 year old HANDSOME MAINE COON mix male. My coat is Brown Tabby with White and I have a cute pink nose. I have SPARKLING green eyes and my coat is super SOFT with the FLUFFIEST tail imaginable. I’m a FRIENDLY boy and once I get to know you I will RUB against you and ROLL OVER. I’m also VERY PLAYFUL and ENERGETIC so I would do best in a home with another CAT to play with or a human that has plenty of time to spend with me. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Long Beach Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
