Biggie's Story...
Biggie is a 9 week old male brown tabby. He will be available for a adoption after 11/1/16.

Biggie is true to his name as he is the biggest in his litter, but also the mellowest. He has the sweetest personality and loves to lounge around when he’s not busy chasing a toy or litter-mate. He loves to have his belly rubbed and to sleep in your arms like a baby. This boy has the most beautiful green eyes and markings. He is as lovable as they come. Biggie is cat, dog, and child friendly.

We do require kittens this young to be adopted in pairs, unless another pet is currently in the home.

If you are interested in Biggie, please contact us at for more info. Please note, we do not have a building, so there are no viewing hours. Please email for an application as our volunteers may not be able to return your call promptly. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biggie, a Oak Lawn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oak Lawn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Oak Lawn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Lawn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Lawn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Lawn paves the way for another one to be saved.
