Lucy's Story...
Lucy is a 4 year old, 13 lb Miniature Pinscher. She is a absolute doll baby who loves her foster siblings. She plays and cuddles and really enjoys her weekly and sometimes daily hikes in the woods with her foster parents. She is a great walker.Lucy is very smart and listens well. She is totally housebroken and does not need a crate. She sleeps in the bed and in typical mnpin fashion, she requires a blanket for all naps and snuggle times.

Lucy would love to have a home with another dogs and someone who likes the great outdoors. She isn't high energy but with her intelligence, sitting at home all day will bore her to death.

All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and Heartworm negative unless otherwise noted. We require an adoption application, home visit and adoption fee of $200 ($150 for senior). You also get a two week trial period with all of our dogs. To apply, simply go to www.forgottenpaws.com.

Many of our dogs are in foster homes all over Atlanta, thus an application is required before an appointment can be set to meet a dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Acworth Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Acworth, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Acworth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acworth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acworth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acworth paves the way for another one to be saved.
