GORGEOUS GIRL SEEKS A SPECIAL KIND OF PURRSON TO RELEASE HER INNER KITTEN
Hi There People! My name is Honey. I am a beautiful white and orange kitty who just turned four. I recently found myself in a world of confusion. How did I get here? What happened to my home?
I so badly want a special purrson to help me forget the past several months by taking me into their home and giving me all of the attention I deserve. I promise that I'll be worth your while.
I'm a four (4) year old girl who's been a family cat until this recent change of circumstances when the people moved from their rental house, driving away and leaving me in the driveway. How could they? Four years old means that I know how to behave, how to mind my manners, and how to be a loyal friend - once I regain my confidence and come to understand that I am safe and loved. Four years old means that I have a lot of living left to do and a lot of love that I'm ready to give.  My rescuer and current foster mom is so proud of me...she see how gentle I am and knows that I will make an excellent "best friend," the kind you'll bond with and come to depend on for companionship. She is showering me with love, knowing what I just went through. I was just exhausted when she managed to rescue me since I was so scared. When I got home with her I slept for two days straight. But now, I am safe and sound.
I hope that my purrson is out there and reads about me and thinks, "I know how she must feel now, and how much better she's going to feel once she's home again." Please come to meet me so that I can go home with you - for good. Thank you so much.
Gratefully yours, Honey
(I am good with dogs and kids, apartment ok, affectionate, gentle!)

About Pets Bring Joy

About Our Rescue Group...

We are passionate about the fact that pets bring joy to the people who love them, and vice versa! Our full mission statement is presented on our website, petsbringjoy.org, but in a nutshell, we rescue adoptable animals (primarily cats) at risk from "kill shelters," emphasizing adult cats who often get passed over in favor of kittens. We support them through the kindness of volunteer foster homes, and work to find qualified, loving homes for them all.

We also encourage collaboration within the rescue community, working with smaller "grass roots" rescue organizations to help them with community outreach and fund-raising.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Most of our sponsored cats are cared for by foster volunteers in their homes throughout Northern Virginia. We arrange for approved adopters to meet our kitties in their foster homes, where the kitties are in their most relaxed and natural environment.

We are also delighted to have been chosen as the resident rescue organization for PetSmart's East Fairfax store, located at 9528 Main Street in Fairfax, Virginia 22031 (at the corner of Pickett Road and Main Street aka "Little River Turnpike"). You may *view* our kitties any time that the store is open (store phone: (571) 328-7770), but it's best if you contact us via email first so that we can arrange to have a PBJ volunteer meet you to open the cat room so that you can *interact* with them.

We regularly hold adoption events at the store on Saturdays ... please check our website, petsbringjoy.org, for our latest adoption schedule.

We also have animals housed at the PetMAC in DC. Please visit their website: petmac.org/dc; visit Lori at the PetMAC DC store 7 days a week or email Lori at rezqumee@gmail.com for more information.

Our Adoption Process...

We require completion of an initial on-line application; our evaluation process involves two phone interviews, a vet reference check, and a home visit.

For information regarding our adoption process and adoption fees, please visit our website -- petsbringjoy.org -- and click on the ADOPT link at the top of the home page.
