Lucy's Story...
Lucy is an adorable MaltiPoo, five years old and weighing 8 pounds. She is a loving little dog who will make someone a devoted companion. She is sensitive to loud noises and will do best in a quiet home where people speak in inside voices.

Lucy is house-trained, crate-trained and can be left alone in the house without incident. She knows basic commands and walks well on leash. She is good with people and is ok with other dogs.

Lucy is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Castro Valley Maltese/Miniature Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Miniature Poodle for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Maltese/Miniature Poodle dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Miniature Poodle breeders who help with Maltese/Miniature Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
