Toby's Story...
As an official Emergency Placement Partner with the Humane Society of the United States, on Saturday, October 1, 2106, PAWS was honored to have been chosen as a partner in our first international rescue. PAWS has taken in Toby from an unlicensed and illegal dog meat harvesting farm in South Korea. Meet Toby who will finally get to experience what it means to be a cherished and beloved member of a loving, forever family.

Toby is a one-year-old Jindo mix. He weighs almost 35lbs and is roughly 2 ft in length. He has been noted by people for his cheerful and friendly personality. We are also looking for a home with a fenced in yard for this fellow.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Bryson City Jindo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jindo for sale in Bryson City, or seeking a Jindo dog from a breeder in Bryson City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bryson City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bryson City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jindo breeders who help with Jindo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bryson City paves the way for another one to be saved.
