Iris's Story...
Iris a very sweet but shy 7 month old doberman mix. She really wants to be loved, but may take a few moments to warm up to you. Once she trusts you though she thinks she is a lap dog. She will climb right up on you and just wants to be cuddled. She would make a great little companion dog. She does well with other dogs and likes to go on walks, except scary noises can make her nervous. This sweet girl will be available at our adoption event this coming Saturday 10/15 at Petco 2211 S. College Ave from 10am-1pm. If you are interested in this friendly girl, please submit an application through our website aaanimalrescue.org. Please feel free to email with any questions allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Iris, a Fort Collins Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
