They say that it’s not what we have in life, but who we have in our life that matters… and I am thinking that you need me, and maybe I need you! I’m Raisinet. I am a 5 year, Chihuahua/terrier mix, and I am almost as small as a raisin- 7 lbs to be exact. My perfect forever home would include a lap to curl up in, a doggie sibling to play with, and plenty of yummy treats to eat. Because I can be a little shy at first, I would prefer a home without any children. I love curling up on the couch for an afternoon nap and getting as many pets as possible. I am hoping to find someone to share my sweet & loving personality with.  Would you like to add me, Raisinet, to your life? Contact our Adoption Coordinator today!

About Agape Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Agape has been a strong force in the community since it was started in June of 2004. The group has held youth education programs, low-income spay/neuter operations, and works hard to educate the public on a daily basis. They also help displaced animals every day. With the help of several volunteers, we are able to foster pets in a safe and happy home until they are placed in their “forever” homes. We host animal adoption days at the local Pet Smart locations, rescue animals from abusive or neglectful situations, provide routine Veterinarian attention and pay for advanced medical attention, such as surgery and medicines.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Agape dogs and cats can be seen at the following locatins:

100 Oaks Petsmart
The second Saturday of every month 10 AM to 2 PM

Our Adoption Process...

To inquire about adopting a dog, please fill out an application. We do make visits to the adopters home prior to approval. We ask for your current vet information as a reference and, upon adoption, there is a contract that must be signed . Our adoption fee for most adult dogs is $200. The puppy adoption fee is $250 which includes a state regulated $25 refundable fee that is reimbursed after the dog has been spayed or neutered. Another $25 will be reimbursed after your dog graduates an obedience training class post adoption. On average, we spend $350 or more per dog while they are in foster care. to offset the cost of shots, heartworm checks /treatment , spay/neuters, heartworm preventative, and frontline for each animal. All of our animals are spayed or neutered prior to placement. Please spay or neuter your furry friend, too!
