Astrid's Story...

This is Astrid! He is a fun and full of life kitten. Brillant white with patches of grey tabby on her pretty little face and solid gray on her back. White whiskers and a cute dark pink and brown outlined nose. Found sealed up in a cardboard box with no airholes on the side walk. Just him and his sister. They both are in a loving foster home and are fixed, up to date on shots and ready to go!

Adoption fee is $115, which covers the vetting cost. They are microchipped and ready for their new home! If adopted together the fee is $195 for both.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Astrid, a Buford American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Buford, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buford paves the way for another one to be saved.
