Wendy's Story...
A Most Precoutious & Elegant Lady

Hi, my name is Wendy. I am a Maine Coone Cailco Mix. Long fluffy hair. About 1-2 years of age.

I am a very nice, kind, outgoing girl. After 5 seconds of being around you, I’ll be rubbing against your leg and purring with the best of them! I love to purr and talk to you. I definitely let you know that I am happy! I love to cuddle. I’m very sweet - I’ll let you pick me up and you can even rub my belly if you are gentle. I especially love head and chin scratches!

The adoption fee of $145 covers the cost of spay/neuter and vetting. I am fixed and up to date on shots. She is located in Buford and can be seen about anytime with an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Buford Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Buford, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Buford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buford paves the way for another one to be saved.
