Winston's Story...
Adorable Longhaired Kitten

Winston is a very very curious boy and he learns fast....He loves people and wants to be a shoulder cat but will settle for a lap though only for short naps. He has way to much to see to sleep for very long. He is staying at La Maison du Chat with his other kitty friends which he enjoys pestering during nap time. Email adoptions@catrangers.org or call 770-831-5513 or contact Martha Lovell at 678-270-6153 to make an appointment to meet Winston.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Buford Norwegian Forest Cat kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Forest Cat for sale in Buford, or seeking a Norwegian Forest Cat kitten from a breeder in Buford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Forest Cat breeders who help with Norwegian Forest Cat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buford paves the way for another one to be saved.
