Kona's Story...
Sweet Playful Kitten

I may not be the super star that my brother is, but I do have a star named after me and that’s pretty super. Yep, I’m your twinkling star, Kona, and ready to light the night up, as I’m a very mischievous boy and you never know what trouble the night skies will create!!!! I am a snuggler by nature and my foster mommy says that the light from within shines from my soul and eyes throughout the house!

However, I’m still a sweet tiny kitten who has been wishing upon the stars for a furrrrever home to call my very own (hopefully with my bestest friend and brother, Kobe)!!     I am such a happy cat; I love to play and to snuggle and sleep with my human and my brother. They are both super snuggly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kona, a Buford Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Buford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buford paves the way for another one to be saved.
