Meet Polo!!! One of the sweetest beagles you will ever have the pleasure of knowing, a recent addition to our foster program and already wining over some many hearts. If you let him he'll win yours over too:) He's currently in a foster home with another dog, cat and kitten and is doing really well. He's calm, well mannered and just as described, super affectionate!!!

SHELTER INTAKE INFORMATION:
Polo is a 4 yr. neutered tricolor Beagle
SOCIALIZATION: Polo is friendly around strangers and loves getting pet. Polo has been exposed to children; Polo gets along with children & adults. Polo has been exposed to cats & loves to play with them; he has also been exposed to dogs and is respectful towards them. Polo is best described as a loving, affectionate & playful dog.
BEHAVIOR: Polo does not show signs of aggression when handler touches food bowl while he is eating. Handler is able to take bone, toy or any object from his mouth with no problem. Polo enjoys bathing and grooming.
FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Polo has a medium activity level. Favorite things about Polo is, he is extremely affectionate & is always there to greet. He loves to play & would do best in a family home or a single person home. For exercise, he loves to go out for brisk walks. He enjoys sleeping with a blanket. He enjoys eating dry and wet food.
BEHAVIOR UPON INTAKE: Upon intake, Polo displayed a loose body & an open mouth. Polo loved to receive attention from the counselor. Polo allowed all handling..
PLAYGROUP:
Polo was reported to have been around other dogs and is respectful of them.
10/3-10/4: When off leash at the shelter, Polo politely greets other male and female dogs. He mostly explores the environment and often seeks the handler's attention.
