"Shake, shake, shake, Senora,
Shake it all the time.."
(Harry Belafonte - Jump In The Line, Lyrics | MetroLyrics)

Sometimes a girl can't catch a break! I am a fun-loving little girl by the name Senora! And until recently, I wasn’t able to catch a break. You see, I’m looking for a forever home, and I just kept running into roadblocks. When I was rescued, I under a year old, I was pregnant, I had pneumonia, and something else the doctor couldn't identify.  I was a quadruple threat. So, I was in the hospital for a little while. The good news is my tiny pups are adopted, and I am ready for a new home!

I am almost two years old, and I weigh about 10 pounds...so I am pretty small. My foster mom says I am “ridiculously cute, happy, loves to cuddle and loves her humans once she knows them.” That sounds just like me! I do take time to warm up to new people, but with a little patience (and you know how little dogs are), I will be cuddling with you too. I also get along with other dogs and even cats, and I would love to have another little dog like me who wants to play and a fenced yard where we can run together.

Now about my health...I have something called IMHA.  It’s an immune system thing that means I have to be careful with my immunizations and being exposed to environments, like dog parks, where I can pick up bad germs. I was on some medications when I was diagnosed, but now, I am doing much better. It is possible I might relapse (30-35% chance), but now I know what it is, and what to do—take medicine to get better (prednisone and antibiotics). And if I am careful, I may not have a relapse!  The other downside of my being sick is I lost some of my house training skills, but I am really trying hard to get them back.

And while I like children, my size and health sadly mean I have to avoid them. Do you think you can give a happy, fun-loving girl like me a home of my very home? Go ahead and fill out an adoption application and come meet me. I will be patient with you too.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our animals are in our network of foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Please go to www.facebook.com/angelsrescue/events to see our schedule of adoption events, or email inquiry@angelsrescue.org if you are interested in a specific dog.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on www.angelsrescue.org.
Your application will be assigned to someone in our organization that will review it and contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check.
