Here is RUSTY. Calling DOXIE SAAVY families for this very special puppy. Rusty is an adorable red smooth with excellent breeding (AKC). However, his 10 months of life have not been ideal. He has been treated badly and has lived his life in a shock collar. He is a sweet and tender little guy who needs love and attention to help him learn trust again. If you know doxies, and have some time to assure lots of cuddling, Rusty will be the perfect puppy for you to train with kindness and love. No cats, and no young children in the household, but perhaps a good natured spayed female Doxie would be company for him.
Rusty is all up to date on the medicals (rabies, bordetella, DHPP, Advantage, and wormed) and is looking particularly nice with recent grooming and pedicure. He comes with a low cost coupon for neutering. Rusty has a new leash and collar set, toys and blanket, dog food and a free exam card for his next appointment with our Doxie vet at Best Friends Veterinary Medical Center.
Perhaps if you are not quite ready or able to adopt, you might be willing to help our rescues pass their time in rescue by donating toys and long lasting chew bones. We are also in desperate need of clothes washing soap, disinfectant and Lysol spray. PLEASE HELP. Any assistance would be appreciated!
