Athena was adopted as a puppy and unfortunately is being returned to the adoption program due to financial issues with her current family.  She has been with the same family for the first year of her life. She is a well-loved, playful and well behaved girl.

Her favorite things include playing fetch, going for long walks and hikes in the woods. She is very high energy and needs a fair amount of exercise. She is well behaved off leash and is playful and friendly with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is a little scared of people but becomes incredibly lovable after just a few minutes of getting to know anyone.  Current owner has a child and Athena absolutely adores him.

Athena is 40lbs full grown, all black fur and big brown eyes. She was born on 12/3/2015 and she is up to date on all shots, spayed and microchipped. She has no special dietary needs and is house-trained, crate-trained, leash trained and has no ongoing medical issues.

Athena will make the perfect addition to any home!

Come Meet Our Pets...

To meet our pets, contact us about any dog/puppy you are interested in and we'll set up a meeting time/date between the adopter and foster home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program. Their is a 5 day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family.
