Helena's Story...
Hello!! My name is Helena and I'm about 1-3 years old. I had 5 kittens and they all got adopted so now it's my turn! I would love to be your friend and snuggle bug. I will follow you room to room and like to be in the middle of everything that's going on. If you are having a bad day I will greet you at the door to make your day better! I can get very vocal when I'm hungry or want to be loved on! I enjoy toys and my favorite toy is a squeaky mouse that I will carry around in my mouth while meowing to tell you that I have it. I'm quite and just want a nice comfy lap to lay on. If you have dogs that's no problem I can get along with them if introduced slowly. I do my business in my box and love to please. Even though I have had a rough start I still possess a sweet nurturing spirit that is truly remarkable! I really would like a forever home so if I'm the match for you please contact BAS and ask for #26766 :)

Act quickly to adopt Helena. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Helena, a Beaumont Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Beaumont, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Beaumont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beaumont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beaumont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beaumont paves the way for another one to be saved.
