Lida was rescued from OC Animal Care and has gone through extensive training. She is such a sweet girl who deserves a home to call her own. Lida has learned a lot from her training and comes with a trainer that is fully prepared to continue her progress with her new adoptive family. Lida will require a strong owner and is longing to be the only spoiled child in the home. She would do best in a home with no kids.  She can be quite dog selective, but may do ok with a neutered male pittie; definitely no small dogs or cats though...Lida is spayed, fully up to date on all vaccines and is 4 years old. She is active and enjoys going on walks and hikes.

If you are interested in adopting or fostering Lida please email Saskia at sboisot@yahoo.com or call (619) 895 0599.

About It's The Pits

About Our Rescue Group...

We are located in the San Diego area and pull dogs from southern California shelters and we assist families in rehoming their pets so that they don't have to go to a shelter.

I started doing rescue because I couldn't stand to see adoptable dogs being euthanized due to lack of an immediate home. I knew that I could find them good homes.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential families are asked to complete or Adoption Application before visiting our dogs. We introduce you and your family including any other dogs/cats in your family to our adoptable dogs. If the meeting is a good match we will schedule a home check to ensure that the home is a good match for the pet that you have selected. You will then be asked to complete our Adoption Agreement and to finalize the adoption there will be a processing fee to adopt a pet from us. All proceeds go directly back to help support our rescue and there are no paid employees so all fees are used for our pets waiting to be adopted.
