Faith's Story...
Well she doesn't look like a cat!.... and yet our little Faith seems to have 9 lives! How lucky we were to have had the opportunity to pull this total love bug AND treat a surgical condition that may have prematurely taken her. What a loss not to have such an angel among us! She is now fully recovered and ready to steal your heart. Faith is completely blind but has managed to overcome that obstacle without a hitch. She is housebroken unless crated when a pee pad comes in handy! She is also being diaper trained, as her blindness can make her confused as to where to go in new environments. Faith is very quiet never once barking in her foster home! She gets along with all dogs, large and small, young or old, and is a complete lapdog. Faith is currently on no medications and and due to severe dental disease has had all of her teeth removed, she has been gaining weight on a soft diet and currently weighs less than 10 pounds. We estimate her age around 12 years old and believe she is a miniature pincher .Keep in mind good things come in small packages, don't pass her up without a look!

If you are interested in Faith, please complete an application at www.seniordoghaven.org under the adoption process tab. Any questions can be directed to info@seniordoghaven.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faith, a Wilmington Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
