Sweet Snoop, aka The Velvet Hippo, is just the biggest and silliest love bug. He is around 1 year and weighs 75-80 pounds. Snoop is so much fun and always has the biggest smile on his face. He is housebroken, crate trained, and does wonderful on leash. Snoop never meets a stranger, loves everybody that he meets. Does well with other dogs and did not seem to mind cats at all, but with any adult dog they need to be introduced the right way and always be cautious. Snoop does great on car rides and loves going where ever you go. He loves giving kisses and is just the best. Snoop is going to make an amazing family companion.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend with Petsmart's National Adoption Events! First, CPR with be with North Shore Animal League hosting on Friday, February 17th at Petsmart in Meriden, CT from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will return to Petsmart in Meriden, CT on Saturday, February 18th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will again be back at Petsmart in Meriden, CT on Sunday, February 19th from 10am-2pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and will be undergoing treatment before leaving our care. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
