Roxy comes to us as an owner surrender due to her previous owner's health. Roxy is a little cautious when meeting new people but warms up rather quickly. What she doesn't like is being loomed over. The best way to meet Roxy is by getting down on the floor and having her come to you. Roxy appears to be more comfortable with women than men. That is not to say she won't accept a man in her home, it just takes her a little longer to connect.

Roxy was fine with the dogs she met here and lived with other dogs, so she should be fine in a multiple dog household. Roxy is housetrained and crate trained and prefers sleeping in her crate at night. She did live with kids in her previous home and her owner said she did fine. We recommend respectful kids at least 10 years old. Young children may be too much for her.

Roxy is a sweet little dog who just needs a patient adopter who will take their time with her. Once she is comfortable in her new home she is sure to blossom.
