I am already spayed and up to date with shots.
Bailey was found as a stray and taken to a pound. She is estimated to be about 1-2 years old. She weighs about 7 pounds and is very lively. She has a typical chi personality so would need someone that can deal with their attitude! Bailey's adoption fee is $250.
We are a very small group of dog lovers that are devoted to the well being of small breed dogs. We try to only bring in dogs under 15 pounds so they can be safely housed together. It is heartwarming to see a dog that has spent its entire life in a kennel learn how to play with toys, accept love from a human, and actually want to be touched.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Prospective adopters are welcome to come and meet the dogs once their application has been approved. This can take as long as two weeks since all of us are volunteers and work full time jobs as well. Since we are a home based group, we are bringing adopters into our homes to meet the dogs.
Our Adoption Process...
Our rescue is foster based so the dogs are in homes where they are learning to get along with other dogs and humans. We require a vet reference as well as two personal references with each application. Our funds to rescue and vet all dogs come from our adoption fees or our personal funds. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, have dentals, and heartworm checked before leaving the rescue. If they are too young or small to be safely neutered, they are adopted on a spay/neuter contract.
