Waverly's Story...
**Waverly is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $350, which covers her flight to her new family, a travel kennel, and she is vetted.**

Waverly and her mom & siblings were rescued from a local kill shelter and we couldn’t leave them there. We took these babies home immediately but they all had an upper respiratory infection. After several weeks of treatment they were ready for their forever homes!

Waverly loves to play with everyone! She loves kitties, puppies and people! She is about 4 months old now and is ready for her forever home. She loves to snuggle and rub her face all over her foster mom face when she holds her up on her chest.

**Waverly is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application. Her adoption fee is $350 to help cover the cost of her airline flight and her travel crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waverly, a Seattle Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
