Felix's Story...

Felix is a handsome little boy. He is smaller than the rest of the kittens, but he holds his own. He likes to play but not like a crazy maniac. He much more prefers to play off by himself and if he had his way he would just sit in your lap all the time. He was a bottle baby from the day he was born, so he has been held non stop for 3 months. He is so used to being in someone's arms, that is his normal!! He stares at you lovingly with those big eyes and big ears and melts your heart every time. Such a momma's little boy!!!

Felix is scheduled for his neuter on Thursday, October 20th. He will be ready to go to his forever home on Saturday, October 22nd. His adoption fee is $85. He will be neutered, vaccinated, tested, dewormed, received a 30 day flea treatment and microchipped. A $50 deposit will be required to hold him until the day you pick him up, and you will pay the balance of $35 at that time.

If you would like to meet him and pre-adopt him, please visit www.maricats.com and fill out the adoption application. Someone will get right back in touch with you to arrange a time for you to meet him in north Fort Worth at his fosters home.
Felix, Domestic Short Hair has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix, a Fort Worth Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
