Chloe's Story...
This sweet little girl was dumped in Dallas. She was horribly matted and infested with fleas. She was not well taken care of but was still happy and tail wagging when she saw us. We picked her right up and took her to the vet and got her all better. She is very young and we believe to be a full breed Shih Tzu. Once she got her grooming done, she felt so much better and looks like an absolute princess. She knows where to go to ask to go outside, is learning the doggie door, walks well on a leash, and is crate trained. She was probably left outside all the time, so she is a bit of an escape artist. She must have a fenced backyard and until she knows she is safe in her forever home, she must not be left alone outside. So sad that such a young girl knows so much sadness. We intend to make this next chapter of her life perfection. She likes other dogs, cats and kids. No kids under 8 please. Chloe is being fostered in Arlington, Tx She is about 6 months old. She is heart worm free and on prevention. She comes with 3 sets of shots, microchip, her spay surgery, rabies and 3 dewormers. She will also come with a leash, collar, and harness. Chloe loves, loves, loves doggie beds. She could definitely become a diva if you let her!!
Chloe's adoption fee is $500.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Dallas Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
