Dion's Story...
Hi, my name is DION and I am a GOOD-LOOKING 2 year old WONDERFUL male kitty. Not too long ago, Posh Pets rescued me from an overcrowded NY shelter. I’m currently living in a temporary foster home and my foster mom said, “Dion is VERY AFFECTIONATE. In no time he has been out and about in my household and he is such a SWEETIE PIE. He is VERY SWEET and EXTREMELY SMART. He even let me cut his nails. I had friends over and after awhile he can out and made friends with everyone and they all seemed quite taken by him.” So what do you think? Are you ready to gain a PAL for life? Let’s meet. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dion, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
