Sander's Story...
My name is Sander, and I am a charming Turkish Van/ white DSH mix boy who was born in April 2016. All white with just small spots or splashes of orange between my ears and on my tail is what makes me a Turkish Van mix.
I get along with everyone: 4-legged felines and canines AND 2-legged friends too. I am such a sweet boy who loves playing, cuddling, and investigating anything I can.
Somehow I ended up at a shelter as a small kitten, but luckily my Buster's Friends' meowmy saved me!!!! Don't you want to meet me? I promise you'll find me to be the perfect fella to adopt because I will fit into so many family situations.
Sander is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Sander, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sander, a Houston Turkish Van kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Houston, or seeking a Turkish Van kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
