Boo's Story...
Hmm? People here to see me? I'm gonna peek out at you from behind this chair leg first, k? I'm Boo and I'm a 7 year old American Cocker Spaniel. Did Mercy tell you why we're in rescue? The human kiddos had to come live with us, and one was so allergic, his face would change shape! My name is the only scary thing about me ... (do you mind if I come out from behind this chair now? I wanna come sniff you a bit) ... I'm a shy girl from a small town (can you pet me now?) ... all this change is so new for me - a little overwhelming even! (wanna let me in your lap?) Ahhh ... this feels nice ... a girl could get used to a nice quiet lap all her very own, you know? I'll look for an application from YOU soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo, a San Diego Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
