Dahlia's Story...
These cuties are almost ready for forever homes! Their momma Penny is a Boxer/Hound type mix, no clue on who dad was, possible bully breed mix. These pups will need a home with a yard, a active family who has the time to dedicate to training and socializing a young pup into a wonderfully trained social adult. Breed experience would be great for their new families as well. If interested in adopting Iris, Dahlia, Baruke, Tucker, or momma Penny please apply at http://ozziespoundpuppies.org/online-application/
They are being fostered in Livermore and will be available for meet and greets as of 10/16. Adoption fee is $250 and includes deworming, microchip, up to date vaccines, and spay or neuter. 🐶

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dahlia, a Concord Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Concord, or seeking a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Concord.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Concord already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Concord breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Concord paves the way for another one to be saved.
