A Little Bit About Me

Perry is beautiful white boy who was found as a stray. He is shy, but will snuggle in your lap once he feels comfortable. He is looking for quiet calm home with folks who will be patient while he get accustomed to the new circumstances.

Perry will need a small quiet room, like a bathroom outfitted with a bed, litter box, food and water, where he can get accustomed to his new home. Once he is using the litter box, eating and comes to meet you when you enter the room he will be ready for a bit more space. Gradually giving him more space, will make his adjustment to a new home go more smoothly.

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
