A Little Bit About Me

Handsome Freddie is looking for a quiet home in which to shine. He is a little shy at first until he feels secure and then becomes a fine feline companion. In his previous home he lived strictly with adults, in what was described as a 'calm & quiet home', so we feel Freddie would like to find another like home.

Equip a small room with all the cat essentials; litter box, comfy bed, sisal scratching post with an observation perch, food & water. Visit often letting him come to you for attention, the smaller the room you can provide the faster this introductory process will take. When he is eating and drinking well, using his litter box consistently, and greeting you at the door, he is ready to gradually explore more of your home. Do give him the option to return to his home base as cats like their familiar places!

Take some time to get to know this handsome guy, you may just fall in love!

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
