ASHLEY - ID#A272301

We have a serious crush on our girl Ash! She's gentle and a little shy at first meeting ~ she warms up wonderfully well and has a lot of love to offer too. She is adorable and loves each & every person she meets. Ash has an easy-going playstyle with other dogs and could live in a home with (respectful) children ages 12 and older. We are not sure about her interactions with cats.

I am a spayed female, black and white pit bull terrier mix.

I am estimated to be about 5 years old.

I weigh approximately 51 pounds.

I have been at the shelter since 07/01/2016.

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
