Apollo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Apollo's Story...
Apollo is a 4 & 3/4 year old (DOB - 12/5/2011), black & tan, cropped and docked, European bloodline, 85 lb male Doberman. Owner turn-in due to owner health issues. Grew up as a city dog, so a big yard and grass is a new and exciting experience, but not mandatory. Lots of energy and loves to run. Walks well on leash. House trained. Very inquisitive and tall (29" at the withers), so counter-surfing is an enormous temptation. Gets along with people (including children) and other dogs (ignored other dogs in the pet store), but cats are an unknown. Loves to chew, so bone money is important. Rides well in cars, and doesn't climb on furniture. Loves to sleep on a dog bed next to his people. Will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apollo, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
